TRAINING CAMP AND PRE-SEASON :

Sep.16 Antropov ? FIN This game took place in Finland.  Antropov and the Fin. player (sorry, can't spell his 20-letter name) came out of the penalty box (they were in there because of roughing minors) and Antropov went right after the Fin.  Surprisingly all the good shots were landed by the Fin player!  Pics below.
Sep.21 Perrott Peters Buf Perrott made quick work of Peters.  Pics below.
Perrott Peters In round 2 Peters did a bit better but Perrott was still in control.  Pics below.
Sep.26 Perrott Hamal Ott Perrott dropped Hamal quickly with quick lefts.  Pics below.
Pushor Giroux This went on for awhile with both landing some but Pushor finished it with 3 or 4 straight rights.  Pics below.
Sep.27 Belak Brookebank Ott Both landed a couple but Belak was throwing with both hands.  Pics below.
Tucker Neil Tucker threw a couple but Neil was in control during this one.  Pics below.
Palahnuk Hedlund Started after a big scrum.  Looked like Hedlund was in control but then Pelahnuk came back and finished it.  Pics below.
Marchment Payer Marchment FLATTENED an Ottawa player with a hit so Payer came in.  Not much of a scrap.  Pics below.
Perrott Zanon Perrott just destroyed him with lefts.  Probably 15 straight lefts thrown by Perrott before Zanon dropped.  Pics below.
Sep.29 Perrott Carpentier Mon Perrott lands lots of lefts on this huge guy.  Pics below.
Oct.01 Belak Brookebank Ott These 2 seem to go every time.  Both landed a couple in this one.  Pics here.
Domi Brookebank This wasn't much.  They started jostling then Brookebank went off balance as Tie was loading up and fell into Tie who landed on top of him.  Pics here.
Oct.05 Tucker Bootland Det Tucker was in control during this one throwing lots of rights.  Pics here.
Roberts Wilm Roberts is coming off shoulder surgery and didn't seem too interested in fighting.  Pics here.
Oct.20 Domi Goddard NYI Goddard skated in and knocked Tucker down with a hit so Domi went after him.  Tie slipped about 3 times during this but he was the one throwing all the punches.  Goddard left the ice with some blood on his face but didn't look too hurt.  Pics here.
Marchment Goddard Started because of the same reason as the Domi/Goddard fight but reversed - Marchment layed out an Islander with a crushing bodycheck so Goddard dropped the gloves and went right after him.  Marchment threw all the shots in this one except for one at the end where Goddard popped Marchment in the nose making it bloodied.  Pics here.
Oc.22 Roberts Guerin Dal Not much of a scrap.  They both ducked their heads and threw quick jabs and it was over in like 2 seconds.  Pics here.
Oct.23 Jackman Ference Car Ference was in control during this one landing lots of hard lefts to the back of Jackman's neck, but Jack came Back with a few of his own...  Pics here.
Oct.25 Belak Peat Was This was a pretty good fight.  Wade had his right hand free the whole fight and would throw a bomb then immediately counter with an uppercut  In slow motion you could see Belak land 4-5 good ones square on Peat's face.  Pics here.
Domi Doig Doig accidentally ran into another Leaf and Domi apparently thought it was on purpose so he went after him and started this...  Pics here.
Oct.30 Perrott Peters Buf Perrott destroyed the big man yet again..., and Peters is like 6'6" and 247lbs.  Pics here.
Nov.04 Marchment Adid Pit Apparently Marchment was angry with him because of something that happened previously.  Pics here.
Perrott Focht Focht was holding Perrott in tight.  Not much happened here.  Pics here.
Belak McKenna This was the best fight of the night.  Belak was going offensive so quick that McKenna was forced into a defensive posture for most of the fight.  Pics here.
Nolan Webb Nolan got web against the boards during the play and just started PUMMELLING him.  Webb dropped to the ice and Nolan kept throwing huge rights down at the little pesk.  It was a good 2-3 shots before one of Webb's teammates could come in to hold Nolan off.  Pics here.
Nov.13 Roberts Laperriere LA Mostly grappling.  At the end, Roberts had Laperriere pinned up against the boards where the door to the Leaf bench is, and Kaberle opened the door, causing Laperriere to fall in to the bench.  Pics here.
McCabe Avery McCabe had enough with pesky Avery so they dropped 'em.  McCabe went down early but got up quick and threw Avery to the ice.  Not much happened in this one either...  Pics here.
Nov.18 Belak Oliwa Cgy Not much happened.  Both were keeping the other at a distance although Oliwa had better reach and was in control a bit more...  Pics here
Nov.24 Perrott May Van Not much during this one.  Just grappling and twisting around.  Pics here
Nov.27 Nolan Exelby Atl Both got a couple good punches in then Nolan pancaked him at the end.  Pics here
Nov.30 Nolan Barnaby NYR Nolan got some good ones in early and looked in control, then they grappled and Barnaby ended up coming out with his hands more free and landed 3 good ones square on Nolan's face.  Long fight.  Pics here
Dec.02 Marchment Simon NYR Pierre McGuire's "brilliant" use of the damn telestrator (that thing where during the replay he stops it and starts writing all over the screen) made the TV audience this one.  Yep, he was doing the replay while a fight was occurring on the ice.  Looked like a short one.  Simon was on top when the cameras went back. Pics here
Domi Barnaby Tie was in full control and had the left hand flaylin.  These 2 vs. Barnaby were Tie's best in a long time.  Pics here
Domi Barnaby Now THIS is where Tie really unleashed his fury.  Pics here
Marchment Simon This happened right after the Domi/Barnaby fight so all the players were still on the ice and the camera wasn't able to single them out, but it looked like Simon was swinging away pretty good and seemed to have got the edge in this one.  Pics here
Tucker DeVries This one was a DANDY.  Both got in some good shots and it when on and on and on.  Pics here
Dec.09 Perrott Low StL Perrott got in some rapid lefts at the beginning, then grappling, then Low came back with non-connecting rights.  Pics here.
Dec.11 Perrott Brown Min This was payback for Brown throwing a hit on Stajan.  Brown got in a couple rights at the beginning then Perrott answered with some rapid lefts and threw Brown down to the ice.  Pics here.
Domi Henry This started after a whistle - Henry is one BIG lad but Tie was in full control in this one, swinging away and leaving Henry with a bloodied bridge of the nose.  Pics here.
Dec.13 Perrott Macdonald NYR This was Macdonald's first NHL game and he wanted to make an impression, but he was out of his league in this department going at it with Perrott.  Pics here.
Belak Purinton Both these players hadn't played in awhile and were put into the lineup specifically for this game.  A bit of a sloppy fight to start but Belak ended it with 2 hard right jabs which caused Purinton's kneeds to buckle.  Pics here.
Dec.20 Belak Langdon Mtl Both players landed some hard shots but Langdon skated off with a huge bloody spot above his left eye.  Pics here.
Dec.23 Tucker Ritchie Fla Quick scrap.  Tucker was swinging hard but missed and went down with Ritchie on top.  Pics here.
Dec.27 Belak Goddard NYI Both of these big boys were swingin hard.  Belak jerseyed Goddard for a bit but he popped out quick.  Spirited bout.  Pics here.
Dec.29 Perrott Hordichuck Fla Perrott started out with hard quick lefts but Hordichuk came back and managed to get Perrott down.  Pics here.
Jan.01 Belak Doull Bos Doull had fought in every game since being brought into the Boston lineup but he picked on someone he shouldn't have.  This was a slugfest that Belak won hands down.  Doull skated off with a bloodied left side of the face.  Pics here.
Domi McCarthy Bos They squared off, Domi feinted McCarthy then went in and threw a left as he whipped McCarthy to the ice with his right hand that he had ahold of him with.  Very quick, hardly a fight.  Pics here.
Jan.03 Domi Peters Buf They squared off and Domi went in first.  Peter used this to his advantage and landed a hard right uppercut which dropped Tie to the ice but Domi got right back up into a grappling mode.  He got Peters into a bit of a spin and threw him down, landed a couple shots at the end.  Pics here.
Jan.06 Marchment Buchberger Pit This one started by the boards.  They had a hold on each other, then Marchment broke free and hammered Buchy to the ice.  Buchy always gets beat up.  Pics here.
Jan.08 Perrott Hnidy Ott Perrott was obviously frustrated at the score of the game so he gave Hnidy a bit of a jab with his stick as they were close.  Hnidy didn't back down and the dropped 'em.  Perrott's left hand was on hyperdrive and he fired Hnidy down to the ice with repeated lefts.  Pics here.
Jan.10 Perrott Skrlac NJ  Both players came out swinging fast landing some.  Nathan ended it by flipping Skrlac head over heals onto the ice.  Skrlac was sporting a bruised welt over his right eye in the penalty box, Nathan had a small cut above his left eye.  Pics here.
Jan.13 Perrott Oliwa Cgy This was one scrap that would make Donald Brashear happy.  All they did was hug/grapple with each other.  A couple short jabs were thrown by both but this was just a wrestling match.  Pics here.
Wilm Donovan Cgy Both were swinging hard in this scrap that developed out of a scrum.  Donovan went down after a hard swing by Wilm but I don't think Wilm connected.  Pics here.
Jan.16 Perrott Brashear Phi The both dropped them right off the face off and went into bear hugs.  Perrott ripped Brashear's helmet off, Brashear tried to throw 2 punches to the back of Perrott's helmet but couldn't reach, Perrott landed to lefts to the back of Brashear's melon then Perrott dragged Brashear to the ice.  Hardly even worth fighting majors...  Pics here.
Jan.21 Domi Verot Wsh Crappy fight.  Start on the boards in the far end.  Domi threw a shot, Verot fell, got up, linesmen came in, Verot fell again, Domi threw 2 under jabs.  Pics here.
Jan.30 Perrott Lessard Atl Perrott started out throwing rapid lefts but got TKO'd by a shot from Lessard.  Pics here.
Jan.31 Domi Hnidy Ott Domi vs. Hnidy was actually pretty good - Tie had to take off his new visor before it started.  Redden nailed a Leaf player into the boards so Tie went over to him and pushed him, so Hnidy came over to Tie - and Tie was ready to go with anybody at this point.  Both players landed some but Tie definitely had the edge in this one.  For all pics of this one go HERE.
Domi VanAllen Ott Domi got a fighting major but VanAllen only a roughing call.  'Not sure what started it, but it was quick as Tie threw VanAllen down to the ice after giving VanAllen some hard jabs to the face with the glove on.  For all pics go HERE.
Feb.5 Domi Simpson Ott They both only got roughing calls but it was a fight more or less.  Mostly just a lot of holding.  Pics here.
Perrott Neil Ott Good scrap!  Perrott got some good shots in at the beginning but Neil held in there during this LONG fight.  Pics here.

Feb.14 Perrott Boulton Buf They squared off for awhile and it looked like it was going to be a good one, but they both came in close and locked up and it became a wrestling match.  Pics here.
Roberts Fitzpatrick Buf This started out of a scrum after a whistle so you couldn't see much due to bad camera angle, but when they finally broke out Roberts was going to town on Fitzpatrick.  Fitzpatrick left the ice with his sweater over his nose and it turned out his nose was broken.  Pics here.
Feb.16 Perrott Buchberger Pit Perrott should have smoked Buchy but it turned out into a hug-fest, with Perrott wrestling Buchberger down at the end.  Pics here.
Feb.17 Domi Doull Bos They lined up at the face off and squared off after the puck was dropped.  It looked like Doull was going to hold his own at the beginning but Tie kept throwing the lefts.  A lot of grappling and Doull did get an uppercut in, but otherwise this fight was all Tie.  Pics here.
Feb.21 Marchment Rivet Mtl Best fight of the year! (so far)  Earlier Marchment elbowed Rivet and they both got roughing minors.  After they came out of the box they went at it.  REALLY went at it.  This was an all out no-defence slugfest that lasted a LONG time.  When it finally finished both players were so bloodied that they didn't go back to the penalty box and instead went to their dressing rooms to get repaired.  Pics here.
Mar.06 Domi Boulton Buf This one was over quick.  Domi smacked Boulton down to the ice, threw a few more hard lefts and the linesmen were quick to jump in.  Pics here.
Mar.09 Perrott Hordichuck Fla Perrott started off strong getting in some good lefts but then went off balance and fell to his knees and Hordichuck landed a couple.  Pics here.
Mar.11 Belak Foct Pit Belak laid out Buchberger with a hit so that Buchy went straight into where the boards start.  Focht figured it was his job to stick up for his team mate and went after Belak during the scrum.  Bad camera angle during this one, but Belak was in control the whole way.  Focht's jersey came off and Belak got him down and landed a couple upper cut shots before the linesmen came in.  Pics here.
Mar.13 Domi Langdon Mtl These 2 love fighting each other.  This one was LONG.  Both were pretty much keeping the other at a distance, but Tie was getting in some good lefts on Langdon because he got Langdon's helmet off at the beginning.  Langdon also landed a few but they were just hitting Tie's helmet.  Very long fight.  Pics here.
Mar.20 Belak Worrell Col Another LONG fight.  These 2 were in the whirlwind the whole time, both landing some rights, but Belak continually landed left jabs with the hand he was holding on to Worrell's jersey (a tactic no doubt taught to him by Tie).  Big long fight between these two titans.  Pics here.
Mar.25 Domi Doull Bos Domi had Doull down on the ice at the beginning then let him up, Tie landed a good left, Doull tried to come back with a few rights but threw them over Tie's head.  He landed one that got Tie's helmet off then Tie threw a power left that dropped Doull back down to the ice and the linesmen came in.  Pics here.

PLAYOFFS BEGIN

Apr.14 Domi Neil Ott Domi ran an Ottawa player near the end of the play and Neil came over.  Both dropped the gloves and started throwing them - well, Tie did.  Tie threw 5 lefts landed 4, Neil threw 2 lefts, landed 0.  Tie got an extra 2 minutes for roughing.  Pics here.
