This 1st round playoff series didn't look like much going in to it, but wow was it a rough one!  Usually when there's a scrum after a whistle the players call go in, grab on, then break up.  Scrums in this series ended up in brawls and players squaring off against one another.  Steve Webb was great for the Islanders as he threw some good hits to spark his team.  This caused the Leafs anger to grow and they responded physically.  I don't have the actual fighting majors listed as there were too many to keep track of, and they were mixed in with roughing minors, misconducts, after-the-game fights which no penalties were given, etc... but this page has a collection of vidcaps from the series....
