GAME
1 @ New Jersey :
Nov. 9th
It all started last year when Domi elbowed Neidermayer in the playoffs, and ended up getting suspended for the remainder of the playoffs as well as the first 8 games of the regular season in the 2001-2002 year. So, NJ was looking for revenge...
It began with Jim McKenzie
jumping Domi at the faceoff - McKenzie got 2+5+Game Misconduct. Why he
didn't just wait and fight honorably I have no idea. He must have known if
he just jumped him he would be thrown out... and
to make matters worse, Toronto scored a power play goal on the resulting power
play. I've always like McKenzie too...

So next in line was veteran
Randy McKay. He did the honorable thing and dropped the gloves to fight.
Too bad for McKay though. Domi really did a number on him... although
McKay only had minimal blood
under his right cheek after the scrap.

Next
battle in line: McCabe vs. Arnott
Another good middleweight fight. Looked like it was going to be a grapple
match then McCabe got his
arm free and lost the elbow pad and landed some quick punches. Then he
tripped and fell at the end (which he
has been prone to in the past - re: McCabe vs. Shanahan)
