Opponent Team Description
Sep.18 Belak McGrattan Ott 2 big lads, both landing some good shots, but had to reach quite a way to hit each other, because both hand a good grip holding each other at bay.  McGrattan came out strong, but Belak came back and landed some good ones, especially when McGrattan went down at the end and Belak fed about 3 uppercuts to McGrattan before the linesmen could stop him.  Pics below.
Hoffman Ward Ott Hoffman was in the middle of dropping his gloves and walking into a Ward punch that TKO'd Hoffman in one shot.  Pics below.
Sep.20 Perrott Orr Bos Mostly grappling but Orr got in a good right that seemed to knock Perrott down.  Perrott got back up and grappled a bit more, both threw some small nuggie punches in the back of the head, then Perrott lost his balance again, bringing Orr down on top of him.  Pics below.
Sep.22 Perrott Ivanans Mtl These guys used to go at it in the AHL.  Long standoff, then Perrott jumped in and landed some quick lefts, then Ivanans threw him down, Perrott got back up, then fell down again.  Pics below.
Sep.25 Perrott McGrattan Ott Squared off right after the puck dropped from the faceoff.  Tucker tried to get in shots early and landed a few but McGrattan got a hold on him and Perrott dropped to his knees a couple times as McGrattan threw some overhead shots.  Perrott landed a right as he got back to his feet then the wrestled up against the boards and got broken up.  Pics below.
Wilm Neil Ott Neil decked a Leaf defenceman with a hit so Wilm went in to stick up for him.  Mostly grappling.  Neil threw some onto the back of Wilms head, but Neil could have done a lot worse to Wilm if he had wanted to.  Looks like he went easy on him.  Pics below.
Tucker Fisher Ott Tucker got hit earlier and semi-injured from the hit.  At the end of the play he and Fisher got into it.  Neither player landed anything significant but Fisher seemed to manhandle Tucker and threw him down at the end.  Pics below.
Sep.27 Perrot McMorrow Buf Started right at the drop of the puck at faceoff.  Another mostly grappling match.  Perrott fell down to his knees 3X, threw some lefts and rights, as did McMorrow.  Nothing major happened.  McMorrow landed on top of Perrott on the ice at the end of the fight.  Pics here.
Belak Gaustad Buf Sundin decked a Buffalo player with a hit on the boards, then Gaustad decked Sundin with a check on the boards right after, so Belak came in.  Belak got his jersey somehow wrapped ENTIRELY around his head, but still managed to fight blind.  No real good shots landing by either.  Belak got 2,5+10 but he was sticking up for his team mate.  Pics here.
Oct.14 Brawl Brawl Atl The Leafs were laying havoc 7-1 on Atlanta, and Lindros was playing the puck along the boards when Eric Boulton ran him with his elbow up.  Domi came in right away to go with Boulton, but Excelby who was right next to him grabbed Domi from behind and Boulton starting firing away cheapshot punches.  Lindros grabbed Excelby and held him as Excelby tried to throw punches at Lindros.  After the big pile-up was broken up, Boulton was pulled away by a linesmen then fired the linesman down to the ice.  Pics here.
Brawl Brawl   This occurred about 20 seconds after the first brawl, after Atlanta was down 7-1 in the game and continued their dirty play.  Sutton guided Tucker into the boards and when doing so rammed his face straight into the partition, cutting Tucker's head for a nasty gash.  This caused another line-brawl.  Even Allison starting throwing punches - good to see it!  Sutton was handed a match penalty with attempt to injure which results in an automatic suspension pending league review.  This game was a bad disgrace to hockey thanks to Atlanta and their clown coach, but it's games like this that draw the Leafs together as a team making them stronger.  ..and the whole time the NHL's review office in Toronto was watching the whole thing...Pics here.
Oct.27 Belak Orr Bos Started right after the puck dropped.  Belak got in some good rights, then Orr came back with some rights.  The fight looked to be about a draw most of the way through, but at the end Belak went off the ice with a bloody nose and returned with a full face mask on his helmet possibly due to a broken nose.  Pics here.
Oct.29 Domi McGrattan Ott Not much of a fight as far as punching.   The only real punches thrown were 2 by McGrattan, but one must have landed on Tie's nose because he had to get it plugged up with tissue.  Pics here.
Nov.06 Tucker Clark Wsh This happened after the game ended.  It was unclear what started it but Tucker was firing rights like a madman, even with a large gash on his nose that was still healing.  Pics here.
Nov.19 Belak Boulton Nsh Belak got a quick start in this one, throwing punches with force.  Long fight, and Boulton tried to come back a bit at the end but both were getting tired by that time.  Pics here.
Nov.23 Domi Alberts Bos Alberts laid a hit on Lindros earlier so Domi went after him when he got the chance.  Domi threw a couple quick lefts before Albert could really get a stance, and went down quickly.  Pics here.
Dec.10 Tucker Ott Dal This one began as the play was going on, with both players landing numerous punches.  Tucker lost his helmet early but managed to get Ott's off later in the fight.  No damage done to either player but it was a spirited fight.  Pics here.
Dec.17 Belak Neil Ott Lots of punches thrown in this one, not many landing hard but a good fight.  Looked like Belak was out of gas at the end and Neil was in control more during the scrap.  Pics here.
Colioccovo Spezza Coli speared Spezza so Spez went after him in front of the Leaf net.  Pics here.
Wilm Pothier Unknown why this one started, probably just due to Leaf frustration.  Both players had a hold of each other's arms so no big punches landed.  Pics here.
Dec.23 Domi Lacouture Bos Happened late in the 3rd period with Toronto losing in Boston.  Domi started by trying to grapple, Lacouture started by punching.  After a few shots by Lacouture with Domi just holding, Tie went down.  Pics here.
Dec.26 Tucker Janssen NJ One of the best Leaf fights this year as far as spirit, punches thrown.  Tucker was a madman throwing fast and furious, although once he got Janssen's helmet off he accidentally held on to it and beat him over the face with it twice before dropping the helmet to the ice, receiving an extra 5 minute major for head butting.  If Domi and Belak would fight as fast and hard as Tucker, there wouldn't be a problem this year in this department.  Pics here.
Dec.31 Belak Janssen NJ After Tucker faired well against the new NJ heavyweight Belak must have felt obligated.  The both held their own in what was more of a tactical (boring) clutch and grab and jab fight.  Neither did any noticeable damage.  Pics here.
Jan.23 Domi Neil Ott There weren't a lot of punches landing in this one but Domi had Neil jerseyed and spent most of the fight trying to get into position.  Pics here.
Belak McGrattan Ott Both players were using the style of jabbing with the arm they had ahold of each other with while throwing long punches over top.  No hard shots landing.  Pics here.
Feb.3 Wozniewski Clymer Wsh Insignificant fight...
Feb.7 Kilger deVries Atl Insignificant fight...
Mar.11 Belak Dingman TB Mostly grappling with small punches thrown to the back of the helmets, but Belak was in control at the end, throwing Dingman down and getting in the last punch.  Pics here.
Mar.13 Domi Lacouture Bos Domi came out like the Domi-of-old, swinging away hard with the left as he got Lacouture into the spin cycle, landing almost every shot.  Lacouture couldn't do much, but did manage to get back to his skates after going down, and settled for just pulling Domi down to the ice at the end.  Clear victory for Domi, good to see him fighting with energy again.  Pics here.
Ondrus Green Bos Ondrus was outsized by former-Leaf Travis Green but did well in this fight.  He was in control and got Green down with a vicious upper-cut at the end.  Pics here.
Mar.23 Ondrus Murray Mtl Quick scrap at the end of the game.  Both players squared off as the puck dropped, both landing some small punches, then both went down.  Pics here.
Mar.25 Domi Simpson Mtl Started along the boards with Domi attacking Simpson, throwing some lefts then Simpson tried to put his head down in defence as everyone else came in.  Richardson squared off with Downey, and Allison was throwing punches while squared off with Dandenault.  Pics here.
Allison Dandenault Mtl For a somewhat timid player Allison really showed he can throw them when he wants to.  Pics here.
Richardson Downey Mtl These 2 paired off after the Domi/Simpson fight/scrum but nothing really happened.  Both had good grips on each other.  Pics here.
Tucker Kovalev Mtl Kovalev was carrying the puck and Tucker had him lined up for a hit, but Kovalev saw him coming and delivered a *wicked* elbow to Tucker's face, knocking him flat to the ice.  Tucker got up and went after Kovalev along the boards, firing punches wildly before the rest of the players all jumped in.  Pics here.
Apr.01 Belak Gaustad Buf Broke out during the play in the middle of the 3rd period as Toronto was pounding Buffalo 7-0 on the scoreboard.  Belak was in control the entire fight - Gaustad went down a couple times to his knees a Belak was punching over the top as well as uppercuts.  Clear win for Belak.  Pics here.
Apr.08 Belak Brashear Phi Started out behind the play.  Belak was skating back into his zone when Brashear gave him a nudge from behind and skated past.  Belak nudged him back, the dropped the gloves and went at it.  Belak knew Brashear was a leftie so also stood with his left cocked, but Brashear slipped and fell right when they were both starting to throw.  Pics here.
